5 Tips for Designing a
Beautiful Garden
As a garden designer I
offer many tips for creating enjoyable garden spaces
I’ve constantly thought
that the best gardens are those who make people glad and comfortable. Sure,
fantastic gardens look proper; however they ought to see as well. I believe
that gardens are relaxing, easy to move and no longer too difficult to
preserve. Paths and systems have to be simple to navigate, while plants should
be interested and function as intended by the designer. As a designer, I
address these issues like comfort application every day. Here I offer 5
practical tips which have helped me create enjoyable, livable gardens for my
clients.
1. Look beyond the bloom
Beside blooming
flowers some other plants attract more attention of visitors. In the past
gardeners just focus on blooming flowers, their texture and specific species.
Sprint is the best season for showoff of flowers but autumn turns them down
like oak leaves. To extend the beauty of your garden you need to choose plants
with multiple ornamental attributes.
2. Design a comfort zone
Although beauty is more charming but plants do more than only sitting around and attract people. Adding leisure to your garden is an important feature; choosing right plants in right time can add this leisure. Broad leaf plants protect the garden from harsh storms. Large scale wooden or glass frame acts as a privacy setting. A ell placed tree can be source of shade in the summer heat.
3. Keep an eye to the future
If you are in digging phase of your garden you should consider about lying power conduit and water pipes along bed edges and pathways. It will add more attraction in the night time. Underground setup of electrical circuit and water will help you to protect your plants, in case of plumbing again in coming future.
4. Designing Heads up
Designing proper heads
up under archways and arbors gives an amazing look to your garden. It could be
minimum 8 feet and could be extended if there will be growing plants over the
head. This height is better and safe as compares to say sorry to heighten man
when pass through it.
5. Turf has its place
A
lawn can be expensive and labor intensive to maintain but its many more times
yielding and comfortable for lounging and playing. Almost on daily basis lawn
endure the huge foot traffic more than any other plant ever could do. Hence
turf is an important feature of any garden so design it wisely. Lush green
grass can be perfect balance for beautiful colorful beds and decks.
